Introducing the Wilson sneaker. Inspired by classic court shoes, we've cut the upper from a hand-waxed Italian leather with a padded tongue, cupped heel and lined with 50% leather / 50% loopback cotton. The rubber sole is hand distressed and chunky in its silhouette, with alternate "Cole" / "Buxton" de bossed on the rear heel, and our double star emblem split across the left and right underside of the sole. Each pair comes with a set of natural and pink flat woven mohair laces.

The past 18 months have been a journey of research, development, and discovery. As soon as the initial design was envisioned, we knew we had to go to the kingdom of luxury footwear, so, of course, Italy was the destination. Countless trips sourcing fabrics, trims, and manufacturers at the beginning of the year brought excitement that I had not had in a long time, creating and building a product from scratch with no pre-existing supply chain is a wild and bumpy ride and this journey took us to places we felt no right being in at times. But once we shared the designs, the very factories making the shoes we've worn and championed like they were our own from brands we have only dreamt of being in the same sentence with opened their doors, and we got to work.
If Cole Buxton apparel is identified by its bold silhouette, luxury craftsmanship, and its vintage washes and textures then any footwear by us had to follow the same code of conduct. In the Wilson sneaker you will discover a classic tennis court silhouette, a nod to the athletic foundations of our design ethos and aesthetic. The upper is made up of hand waxed Italian leather, with each pair coming with vintage white and pink Mohair laces. Our unique Cole Buxton oversized midsole is hand distressed and includes alternate "Cole" / "Buxton" debossed on the rear heel, and our double star emblem split across the left and right underside of the sole unit.
